If you’ve been around here long enough, you know that I LOVE pirates? I mean, who doesn’t?
I’ve hosted a few pirate tea parties at the bookstore: boys and girls both love to pretend to be a pirate! One of my fave books is Twenty Six Pirates, seen in the photo above. It’s an alphabet book with each letter relating to a child’s name and a pirate “feature”.
Another fave of mine is No Bath, No Cake.
Again, I LOVE this book! A group of pirates get invited to a birthday party, but they have to get cleaned up and learn proper manners first. Â Hilarity ensues as we watch them wash, dress, and practice good manners. Â Imagine their surprise when they actually get to the party!
