I’m so thrilled when my friends write books for me! To be sure, authors want other readers to enjoy their books too, but that’s just like, you know, icing on the cake.
What maters most, in my humblest of opinions, is how MUCH I like a book. And you know, there are lots of good books out there. But rarely does a book move me like Temple of Doubt did.
Not since An Ember in Ashes was I moved by a book. I love characterization and action in a book. I also love getting lost in a new world. And that’s what Anne does. She completely develops a whole new firggin fraggin belief system that takes time to get used to. I mean for REALS. Who designs a belief system?
Anne does.
That’s why she rocks. I made a video to show you how much I love the book. Check it out.
Also? I’m gonna let this book in as a Diversity Reading Challenge because I perceive our heroine to be of Eastern heritage what with the robes and other Eastern customs and mores.
I can’t wait for the second book. Great job Anne!
