I’ve just returned from South Beach! Or as we say in Miami, SoBe!!
Now I know what you’re thinking: Pammy Pam, that doesn’t look like a kids’ book?
And it aint for the kiddoes, honey. Nor for your man. Occasionally I love to indulge in chick lit, especially in the summer! So, while I was on vaca I slathered on the SPF 50, grabbed a smoothie (ok it was a caipirinha) and settled down for some grown up girlish fun.
The Scarlet Letter Society is a quick read. You won’t want to put it down: it’s steamy, contains relatable characters, and uses all the language that you’d expect from a grown folks book. I loved it so much, I created a board on Pinterest called TC, about mean girls who grow into mean women. Not gonna use the xplicit word here but if you’re intrigued, check me out. TCs are women who mess up your life and get a thrill from in. No One in The Scarlet Letter Society is a TC (well maybe they are they just don’t know it) but if you’ve read the book you’ll get the reference.
You might need a cold shower or another smoothie after reading this book, so be advised!
