An Unconventional Librarian

Dive into Diversity

Welcome to Unconventional Librarian Day.  I think I like the sound of that! If you’re stopping by from Book Brunch, THANK YOU! If you’re not, WELCOME! Today on my stop on the tour I’m sharing some fun and ridiculously cute stuff.

Not sure what Bookie Brunch is? Check it out here.  See anything familiar? YES, it’s Random Magic!

Remember all the fun we had on the Pinterest Tour? Catch what we did here.

If you’re like me, you don’t like to be scared but you like having fun and eating candy.  So, because I’m a scaredy cat, I like to celebrate Halloween in an unconventional way.  I read  only CUTE kids books!

So…my treat today is a collection of CUTE Halloweenie type treats!

Inside this treat is a cute Halloween book about a square pumpkin, tattoos, greeting cards and cute lil erasers. All kinds of fun things to put in someone’s Halloween treat bag. Or to keep!

Here’s how to enter:  leave a comment below telling me about your favorite Halloween candy.  You can enter as many times as you’d like; the more you comment, the better your chances to win!  Contest runs October 25 at midnight until October 28th midnight. I’ll contact the winner via Random (Magic) on Monday October 29th so that I can send your prize in time for Halloween!

Remember, leave your comment below and Happy Halloween!

My passion is advocating for diversity in children's and YA literature.

  1. I love Reese’s peanut butter cups; I stick them in the fridge so the chocolate is firm and cold πŸ™‚ (I feel like I was just in the “how do you eat your Reese’s” commercial lol)

  2. Quite frankly if it has chocolate on it, it’s a favorite.

  3. Twix. Twix is the best candy ever made. Hands down.

  4. My favorite Halloween candy is Reese’s cups! That was my favorite when I was a little kid, and it still is:)

  5. I love Skittles! Thanks for the great giveaway!

  6. My favorite is mini Take 5 bars. Do they still make them? I haven’t had one in a while. It has everything in it. Peanut butter, caramel, pretzels–yum!

  7. My fave Halloween candy is Candy Corn!

    Thanks for the giveaway!
