The Blue Songbird by Vern Kousky
This is such a beautiful book! The text is beautifully sweet and the illustrations are perfectly soft and dreamy. And you know how I love opening lines:
“Once, there lived a blue songbird.”
I already loved it.
As the sweet little bird searches for her own song, she meets new friends along the way and discovers something she already had: her own special song.
A journey of self discovery that even the littlest of littles will enjoy. I could see so many teachers incorporating this into lessons.
