It’s May! May is a month full of celebrations and birthdays and that can only mean one thing:

PARTIES!

What you don’t know about me is that when I’m not reading books or writing about books or selling books (I work in a bookstore: yes a librarian in a bookstore), I’m partying with books! Very very often on Saturdays and Sundays, I host tea parties at the bookstore.

Here we are at our Frozen party set up. This is our latest birthday obsession: we’ve hosted at least 3 since March! Bookish tea parties are so much fun; we’ve been doing this for over a year now and they never cease to amaze me how fun they are. Girls AND boys love to dress up, play games, make crafts and drink tea. I even teach a bit of a manners lesson with each party.

Over the month of may I’ll be sharing some of the fun parties we’ve had. Hopefully it will inspire you to host your own bookish tea party!
