Last year I had the fun opportunity to be a World Book Night Giver. World Book Night is a great event in which you apply to receive a box of books (really popular titles) and you get to give them away for FREE!!
Seriously! The point is to go somewhere and hand out books, especially to people who might not otherwise get a book. Encouraging people to read is the funnest thing in the world!
Last year I got to give away kids books at the YMCA but you can choose to give your books anywhere: bar, pool, corner, church, etc.
As you can see, Bailey and Cleo were part of my Giver Team and I got a fun pin telling the world I was a Giver!
Sound like fun? It is and so easy. Click on the link, choose your book to donate, and apply. Then wait and see if you get chosen (the earlier you apply, the better your chances are)!
