Thea Stilton #1: The Secret of Whale Island

I’ve said it before and I’ll run the risk of repeating myself: I lurve me some Papercutz! They always have the best graphic novels that tap into what kids (and big grown up kids) want to read.  Their latest is no different.  I’m loving Thea Stilton #1: The Secret of Whale Island because it involves environmentally friendly activities: the mice are trying to save the world for polluters.  Who doesn’t love that? Think Carl Hiassen’s Hoot meets Wonderwoman.  Sorta.

Anyway, I have a treat for you, here’s a sneaky peaky at the new book.

You’re welcome.

#AtoZChallenge: H

Welcome back!

A to Z challenge button

There are so many books that start with the letter H it was difficult to choose. I asked my trusty Book Page, Bailey for some advice. He suggested books about animals; what a good idea, right?

Unconventional Librarian Hoot

What better choice is there than Carl Hiaasen’s (H name, thank you) Hoot, an award winning book for kids about saving the environment and saving animals.  Who couldn’t love that?

Have you ever read it?

Up next is the letter I. Put your thinking caps on.

Stay tuned and thanks for visiting!
