Justice for Janeane: a hit and run incident

ByPam

Last Thursday, while walking her twin girls home from the grocery store, Janeane, a busy blogger, loving mommy, and active, caring friend was struck by a hit and run driver.  The incident happened on Lancaster Ave in the Philadelphia suburb of Bryn Mawr.  Here’s a link to the story.

Here’s a snap of Janeane and me at the Mainline Parent Magazine launch party.

Janeane and her twins were crossing the street when a dark colored (black?) Ford F150 pick up truck struck them and then DROVE AWAY!!!

Can you believe that?  Janeane and her twinsies Z & C, survived, but Z is was life flighted to Nemours Hospital for multiple fractures to her little body, where she remains today. Here’s the story from Fox news.

We in the blogging community are outraged that someone could be so callous as to hit a mother and her children and flee the scene.  We want justice for Janeane and are spreading the word, hoping that someone SOMEWHERE will remember seeing something and will help us find the person who did this.
I’m tempted to get a vigilante group of moms together to go trolling the streets looking for this car to bring Janeane justice.  I’m so angry I can barely see straight. I know, I know, none of this will fix little Z’s fractured skull but it will hopefully prevent someone else’s children from getting hurt.

Janeane’s family want their Mommy back and little C wants her twin back home.

Please help us: were you near Lancaster Ave near 1:30pm Thursday April 25th?  Help us get the word out to find this vehicle before someone else gets hurt!
