I don’t know how this book got overlooked during the hectic holiday season, but this is a MUST READ for animal lovers of all ages, regardless of season!
Carl’s Christmas is an adorable picture book about Carl the Rottweiler who takes care of the baby while the parent’s are out (I know I know). Carl is the perfect nanny, babysitter, Santa’s helper, Samaritan, and all around good doggie.
The illustrations are like paintings and tell the story in a gentle, old fashioned way.
I MUST secure the others in this adorable series.
I also must get a Rottweiler.
Did I mention this was a thrift store find? SCORE!!
I give this picture book for children of all ages 4 paws!
