Bookish Tea Party Fun: Mother’s Day

ByPam

I’ve had the pleasure of celebrating two Mother’s Days this year! Each time I was able to host a Mother’s Day tea party for others. It’s very rewarding to be able to bring a smile to someone’s face!  On Mother’s Day, we hosted a tea at the historic Brinton Lodge, on the banks of the historic Schuykill River, where the likes of William Penn, Benny Goodman, Elizabeth Taylor, and Frank Sinatra are rumored to have walked.

What beautiful weather we had for our party.

We played games, took a tour of the historic (and possibly haunted) house, and ate until our faces came off. hahaha Not really. That was just me. So much for my diet.

We are thinking our next party might be a Great Gatsby party…what do you think?
