  1. Hey, I picked zombies too today! I am seriously in love with The Passage and the sequel, The Twelve. I’ve read them both twice now. (So do I get a double degree or a master’s?) I’ve got to try The 5th Wave. Lurch on, zombies, lurch on.

    1. Tamara you can have a double masters cuz man I dont even want to THINK about attempting The Twelve.

  2. Yancy’s second book seemed like more carnage to me or at least more scary. Cronin’s books are carnage through and through and very tense.

    1. was very disappointed with the sequel. no cohesion.

  3. Zombies work for me! The best thing about the PP&Z mash-up was that it got me to read the Austen original which I enjoyed a great deal. The mash-up was fun too.

  4. I wanna read Pride Prejudice and Zombies, I heard it is fun. Isn’t there a Tom Sawyer version too? I know PPZ is getting a movie, which sounds like it will be almost as delightful as the Jane Austen Fight Club that never got made 😀
    Visiting through the blogfest! Cheers!

  5. Arg! why did you mention Plants vs Zombies? Now I’ll have to pull out my phone and start playing another level!

  6. Plants versus Zombies! Big fan of that game.
Aliens cause zombies? Now that’s intriguing.
Thanks for participating in our blogfest.

    1. HAH!! i thought it was just a book. had no idea it was a GAME!!!

  7. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies sounds fun. I have my hero fall in love with a Victorian ghoul in modern New Orleans right before Katrina. I grew to love Alice Wentworth so much that I wrote a whole novel through her eyes, END OF DAYS. It was a hoot for me to write. 🙂

  8. I’m not much for zombies anymore, though it is fun to play a few levels of Plants Vs. Zombies.

  9. I didn’t really get into zombies until I became hooked on the Walking Dead. Now I love a zombie theme! And I just have to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies!! What on earth is that about? Can’t wait to find out. Love the cover art!

  10. I like truly hideous zombies. Warm Bodies just made me gag, but my daughter wanted me to watch with her. Quality time, right?

  11. When I first saw a copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies I thought it would be ridiculous. But I kept seeing people reading it on the subway in Boston so I caved. It was ridiculous in a totally fun way.

  12. Zombies are a great choice for the BB&C Blogfest! I laughed about Pride, Prejudice and Zombies. Love the image! 🙂

  13. I’m more interested in the idea of zombies than actual zombie stories I think, but I may still have to read The Passage. 😀

    1. and dont forget the vampires. although it wasnt until book club discussion that i realized they were vampires. without the capes n such, who knew?

  14. Zombie books for the WIN!
Well done, as usual, with so much class.
THANK YOU for joining Alex and me in this EPIC blogfest!

  15. Wow! Elizabeth Bennett would so totally ace being a zombie. That is one of my fave books – the non-zombie version I mean. Here from the BBC blogfest and loving all the entries.
