It’s L day!
There comes a time when life spins really quickly like the spinning tea cups at Disney World and your puke when you get off the ride.
This is not one of those times.
This is, though, one of those times when you have a really great book that doesn’t fit into your genre but you use it anyway.
The book I’m referring to is The Last Dogs: the Vanishing by Christopher Holt. As you know, I’m a sucker for anything that has a dog in it. So this title is for tweens/middle grade but who can resist a book cover with three cute furry friends on the front? Not I. Plus it starts with the letter L. Win!
Next up is Legend by Marie Lu! I feel as if I’m the only YA book lover on the planet who hasnt read this book! It’s been on my radar forever and I was thrilled to return from BEA with it. Why havent I read it yet???
Is there anyone who needs a synopsis of the story? Dystopian USA; girl groomed for military excellence; guy is criminal; avenging a death; race for survival; sinister secrets, wooo hooooooo!!
Have you read it?? Tell me!!!
And I can’t believe I forgot to tell you the most important news of all: JOHN GREEN IS MY BOYFRIEND!
No, seriously. I met him last year at Book Expo America and he totally swooned all over me.
Look, here’s a pic:
See? totally digs me.
