Once upon a time in a galaxy far far away there was a PammyPam. She loved to read books but she was missing something in her life. One serendipitous day she met Dr. Nicole Cutts of Vision Quest Retreats. Nicole was a super cool person and taught Pam how to turn her dream into reality by making a Vision Board. Well, as these stories go, one thing led to another and Pam is now queen of her kingdom of books. Thanks to Dr. Nicole, Pam has learned to visualize the things she wants and turn them into stuff. The thing Pam wanted most of all was world peace.
Well, Dr. Nicole couldn’t make world peace happen on a large scale but Nicole invited Pam on her radio show Inside Out LGBT Radio and engaged Pam in a discussion about loving your LGBT child. That discussion led to another which lead to many, many more. Today Pam is THRILLED to be a Special Co-Host on the show Through the Looking Glass: Reflections of Diversity in Fiction where Nicole and Pam will share a few diverse authors with the radio community. Pam promises not to sing, but is guaranteed to chat happily about LGBT fiction with a spectacular array of authors. Pam thinks that world peace can still happen, it just may take more time. While Pam’s focus may primarily be children and young adult literature, she is pleased with the ever increasing choices of LGBT books available to younger readers.
But why should kids have all the fun? Maybe there will be a book in today’s show that might speak to you? Also? Any of these books would qualify for the Diversity Reading Challenge, however, NONE of the books discussed on today’s show are for children. You can catch the show here at 2pm today.
Pam has since gotten her braces off. And they lived happily ever after.
The End.
