Welcome to the Blogging from A to Z Challenge
Today’s letter is
The Book
Very in Pieces by Megan Frazer Blakemore
I chose this book because the main character’s name is Very. Yes that’s her given name. Her surname is Sales-Woodruff. So her name is Very Sales-Woodruff. Ya gotta love interesting names, right?
So Very’s family is falling apart and she feels as if she’s the only one holding it together. And her famous artist grandmother, Nonnie, is dying. It’s tough to be strong when your family is a mess and your beloved Nonnie is dying so YES Very can be in our Book Club. She could prolly use a friend right now.
What’s next? Why W of course!

I am very curious about how she got the name Very. I guess I’ll need to read the book!
Having a fictional character face challenges is central to good and interesting fiction, so it looks like that book qualifies.
I”m doing the A to Z Challenge too, though I missed some days when my computer died and I think they took me off the list.
