The Book

Divergent by Veronica Roth

Divergent by Veronica Roth

Come on, you KNOW I had to pick this book, right?
How can you make a list that doesn’t include Tris? ┬áThere are so many things I love about Tris. If you’ve seen the movie, you haven’t really seen Tris. The book is SO much better (isn’t that always true?). In the book, Tris is a mild and meek young woman who made a choice and discovered she could do anything. If that doesn’t make Tris a Bad Girl, then nothing does. I love how Tris figures out what she wants, she learns what she’s capable of, and she grows from it. And a bonus? Tris is a likeable person (unlike Katniss) and I cheered for her throughout the whole book.

What do you think?

See you on E…

I have not read either the book or watched the movie.
So I can not say but I had heard about it and thought
of checking it out one day. And since I have learned
more about it it may be sooner than later.

That is one series I need to read. I’ve watched the film but much prefer to get lost in a book.

you should totally read YA. some years its the best stuff available.

I watched the movie. I do tend to like her more than Katnis I think! I will add the books to my growing list! Thanks

I did read Divergent, I remember it being okay, I read the second book also, but never could get through the third one, it is still sitting on my nightstand, but I have given up on ever finishing it.
