I love reading books that are as good as a friend recommends! That’s why I’m so in love with The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place: The Mysterious Howling by MaryRose Wood.
This is a funny middle grade tale of a young newly christened governess who comes to work at Ashton Place to a wealthy couple who have just recently taken in three stray children. Â The problem with these children is that they were raised in the woods and act just like wolves! Fun ensures as Miss Lumaroo (Lumley but spoken with a wolf/dog impediment) learn how to adapt to each other. Â You can’t help but wonder whether each predicament they are put into will be the one that sends Alexander, Beowulf, and Cassiopeia (Cassawoof) Â over the edge and have them barking, biting, and scratching at their next victim.
Such a cute book and I can’t wait to read Book 2: The Hidden Gallery!

Three wild children! Wow, that’s a challenge. Sounds like a Mary Poppins’ tale with a dash of wolf.
only she’s not as fun as Mary Poppins. think kindly like Jane from book.
