It’s F Day!
I can’t resist sharing this book again it’s so fabulous.
it’s a beautifully illustrated book about Frida Kahlo
Isn’t it Beautiful!
ok the title of the book is Viva Frida but I’m allowing for poetic license.
You’ll forgive me won’t you?
Here’s my video of the book.
Great book isn’t it?
How much do you love Frida Kahlo?

Jeremy I’ve just read it for you. You’re welcome.
Hi,
I love the way you introduced the Viva Frieda. I looked at the video and the pictures are colourful and intriguing. Living in Europe, I am learning the Italian language, and find it so helpful that I can find books written in Italian with the English translation beside them. So, I believe this book will be very helpful not only for kids, but also for adults who desire to be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Hi Pat! Thanks for visiting. Who wouldn’t want to read this book?
Oh! I thought you actually meant “Frida” the book titled just that! (http://amzn.com/0590203207) Now I know I need another book about her in my library. 🙂
I thought the movie was very good and that was the first I had heard of her.
Great story though. Her art was up here in Chicago for a bit (a tour maybe) and I wanted to see it but never got the chance.

Tim her art toured Philadelphia a few years ago and I had the pleasure to see it. It’s phenomenal. I bought a coffee mug that’s one of my faves. You should totally see it if it ever comes near you again!
Frida Kahlo was extraordinary. I have a wonderful book that includes her work as well as Georgia O’Keefe and Emily Carr (of Victoria, BC), and it’s one of my treasures.
Visiting from the A To Z Blog Challenge. Nice wee blog and I’m not sure its my type of read.
I’d like to see how they handled Frida Kahlo’s story in this book.
its a very very very watered down version. its more like that she liked art.
You are so brave to read in Spanish! Lovely book. Thank you for sharing, and for visiting my blog and commenting, Lisa, co-host AtoZ 2015, @ http://www.lisabuiecollard.com

This is cool. I check this out and look into it for any small members in my family. Thanks.
What a wonderful book. I will have to see if my school library has it.
What a wonderful book! The illustrations are beautiful and I like seeing the English and Spanish together. Very nice.
That’s an awesome book you shared and Yugi Morales is a great author/illustrator. I’m going to review one of her books for M (can you guess where I’m going?)
Those pictures are beautiful!
I love the way you read it!
