Blogging from A to Z Challenge Books

Blogging from #AtoZChallenge: E-Emma

I hope you all have had a restful holiday weekend! Today’s letter is E

I have three E books to share. Yesterday was Easter and so I shared an Easter book: Carrot Saves Easter

Today I have two:

Emma is On the Air by Ida Siegel

Emma: Is On the Air by Ida Siegal. A great #diverse middle grade read.

The second is another #diverse middle grade read about Egypt.

Egyptian Diary the Journal of Nakht - by Richard Platt and David Parkins

Can you think of a book that starts with E?

I love seeing the diverse books from your posts, so far, and how they’re directed at younger kids. It gives me hope that, one day, when they grow up to be adults, maybe there will be more diverse books in all genres! (Since now there isn’t much diversity-at least it seems that way. 🙁 ) Can’t wait to see what other books you bring us throughout the challenge!

I wish this book had been available when I was at school – so many more positive role models for young women these days!

My children loved reading, especially my daughters. We had scores of good, wholesome books filling our bookshelves. Thanks for sharing these delightful “E” titled books on the #A2Z challenge!

There is nothing better than watching a child read their fave book, non?

Lovely books. It’s great to see such variety these days. Diversity is so important and teaching acceptance vital for a harmonious society.
