E #AtoZ Challenge

E

It’s Saturday and E day! What book do you think we’ll be highlighting today?

Any guesses?

If you guessed Easter you’d be wrong. To be sure, Easter starts with E but I’m not discussing that today.

Do you know the word Ersatz? It means fake or substitute.

What about the word Elevator?

Any guesses NOW?

Ersatz Elevator

The Ersatz Elevator

The Ersatz Elevator, part of A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket.  I wonder what he could be talking about, a fake or substitute elevator? hmmmmmmmmm do you know?

Tell me!

Hi, stopping by #a2zchallenge. ERZATS was a popular use for all that replaced unavailable goods during WWII such as Chicory for coffee and meat substitutes… BUT ERZATSELEVATOR???? I am stumped !
I went with D for Daring to Dream and E for Egret my fave Birds … swing by if you get a chance http://4covert2overt.blogspot.com/

I think perhaps your definition is probably the more accurate one. chicory for coffee??? ew! thanks for visiting!

Greetings – Erzats Elevator – sounds like a portal of some sort. No doubt there’s an unfortunate EVENT – hope it’s not an unfortunate drop.
Happy A to Z

Erzatz Elevator…sounds like a fake to me, probably hiding a portal or some sort of hiding place.

Visiting from A to Z challenge. I am up to F is for Fashion now on my When I was a Kid blog.
All the best .
