Blogging from A to Z Challenge Books

The Big Reveal and #AtoZ Challenge

Next month is April and with April comes the Blogging from A to Z Challenge!

I participated last year and it was so much fun.  This year, I’m playing again, AND they let me help! I’ve offered to play Johnny Tsunami for them but they politely declined.  Instead, Mina Lobo said I could play along and announce my April A to Z 2013 Blog theme!

So here it is…..

YA books!! (curtsey for applause)

Last year my theme for the April Challenge was kids book.  In it I highlighted books for kids of all ages…

April A to Z Challenge

As you can see, Book Page Bailey helped a little.  Wanna see what I highlighted last year?

For Letter N: Number the Stars by Lois Lowry

For Letter D: Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus by Mo Willems

Bailey and even Cleo Cat were big helpers last year.

This year my helpers decided to stick solely to Young Adult books.  We’ve been making lists and checking them twice.

It’ll be a challenge for sure, to go through the alphabet using only Young Adult titles; can I do it?

Stay tuned and find out!!

Excited to see all the titles you come up with! Should be an interesting read ^_^

This year is my first go at the A-Z challenge! scary!

Wonderful theme – I was a YA librarian in NYC in the early 90s, and it’s amazing to see how that genre has grown by leaps and bounds. Will make sure to stop by in April!

Not only do I look forward to reading this theme, I have a couple of friends who LOVE YA books and I’ll pass along some recommendations to them as well. Good luck on A to Z!

Hi from Nagzilla bloghopping A to Z

I’m afraid I lost touch with YA books when my son, at age 13, told me he didn’t need me to read to him at bednight anymore. After I picked myself up off the floor, I stopped him from throwing out all the stuff we loved together and am saving them. So I’ll probably learn a lot from your posts! 🙂

Saying hello from the blog hop…I love YA- in fact, my WIP is YA!

I’m trying to figure out how I can subscribe to or follow your blog. I don’t see a “follow” feature or “subscribe” feature here. If you can kindly point out to me how I can go about doing that, that’d be cool!

I think I’m up for the challenge! Sounds fun! I’m going to scour your site for some children’s book reviews. That’s all I read lately. I used to be a reading teacher and am ashamed to say that I haven’t read an adult book in ages! Let me know if you have any suggestions–titles that are fun and lighthearted. Don;t have any thinky cells after the little ones goes to bed! lol

What a great theme. I look forward to reading your post. I am making the rounds and saying hello to all of the wonderful, awesome people who have offered to help. My theme is legal resources for writers of crime fiction and other genres.
