#AtoZChallenge: L-Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse by Kevin Henkes

Unconventional Librarian

Hooray for the letter L and the Blogging from A to Z Challenge!

Bailey was so exhausted from reading the adventures of Lily

that he fell asleep before he could tell you how much he liked it.

Well, even though Bailey doesn’t like mice,

he LOVES Lily!

Lily is a little mouse with too much personality.

She loves school and her teacher Mr. Slinger.

But one day she just can’t keep her hands off of her special purple purse and Mr. Slinger takes it from her for the rest of the day.

Poor Lily, she makes another bad choice and ends up feeling even worse.

Will she be able to make everything better?

of course she will, that’s why we LOVE her!

Girl, you find the funnest books! I love this. Hey, one can never have enough personality! Love your sweet dog.

I love everything I’ve ever read that’s written by Kevin Henkes, and yet I haven’t read Lilly! I must remedy that.

But please don’t ask what letter is next! I have trouble with elemeno. Honestly, I have to say that part of the alphabet to remember which order the letters come in. I have a friend who is the same. We blame the fact that we never had kindergarten when we were kids.

ELEMENO P comes next cuz that’s the letter of MY name! Everyone should read Kevin Henkes, he’s so adorable. And speaking of adorable, thanks for liking my doggie DM!
