Review Policy

Thanks for your interest in having your book reviewed by the Unconventional Librarian.  I am currently accepting books for review with a time-frame of 2 – 3 months.  I am willing to do interviews, guest posts, contests/giveaways, and blog tours.

Queries: All inquiries will be read within 3 days of submission (usually the same day). A response will be sent at that time.

Reviews: Please allow me enough time to give your book a proper read.   If you have an urgent request, let me know, I will do my best to accommodate you. I will usually post a review within two or three weeks of reading the book. If the book has not been released, I may wait until nearer to the release date.  I always give my honest thoughts and opinions on the book.

Genres I typically review:  I primarily review YA and children (0-12), and picture books; however, I am open to adult historical novels, mysteries, chick lit, nonfiction, and self help.

Genres I don’t review:  military fiction, sports fiction, westerns, Christian, erotica.

Cross-Posting Reviews: I typically cross-post my reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, Shellfari, and LibraryThing.  If you would like your review posted elsewhere, just ask.

Book Format:  I now accept PDFs or self-published books.

Please do not put me on your e-mail lists for updates regarding your books unless specifically agreed on ahead of time.

I look forward to working with you!
