So…today is day 2 which means letter B

Did you guess which book I would highlight?

Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo

Unconventional Librarian Because of Winn DixieIs there anyone alive who hasn’t heard of this book or doesn’t love it?

Who couldn’t love the book about little Opal who moves with her preacher father and wind up adopting a dog?

No one, that’s who. This is a classic: every child needs a dog for a best friend.

It is also the book I am thrilled to be giving away

April 23 at World Book Night!

Stay tuned for letter C tomorrow…
